Just a reminder that our Florida Trip Meeting is at 7:00pm tonight (Tuesday the 7th) in the auditorium. This meeting is required! There will be lots of info and forms distributed (and collected).

C-TEC Students and parents: I haven't heard much from you in regards to payments, etc. PLEASE BE AT THIS MEETING!!!

Room sign ups will be taking place at this meeting! Students will send one representative from their room to sign up. Please make sure you speak with everyone you plan on rooming with so you don't get signed up twice.

Winter Concert

The Concert and Symphonic Band's Winter Concert (also featuring the Lakewood Choir) is Thursday, March 8th at 7pm. Obviously, like all concerts, this is required :) There will also be approximately 3 evening rehearsals in the weeks prior (outlined as required per the Handbook), possibly featuring a guest clinician.

Florida Meetings

Remember- we have 2 upcoming meetings (required) for Florida. The first is Tuesday, Feb 7th at 7pm in the auditorium (we'll be done by the 8pm Drama Booster meeting). The second (final) meeting is Wednesday, March 21st, also at 7pm in the auditorium.

Jazz Festival

The Fairfield Union Sweet Jazz Festival is Saturday, February 25th. Both high school bands and the middle school jazz bands will be performing. Miss Goodman, our fall student teacher, is the Director of Jazz at Fairfield Union now,and I'm sure she'd love to have a great Lakewood audience to help cheer on all the bands. Performance times are typically in the afternoon. More details to follow!

Solo and Ensemble

S&Ens. is Saturday, Feb 11th at Granville. SCHEDULED LESSONS BEGIN TODAY! Soloists will be meeting with accompanists as early as next week! PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!
