Dear Parents!
The Lakewood Band is now enrolled in the Kroger Community Reward Fundraising Program. You can begin enrolling online today. Just go to the website mentioned below and see the step-by-step instructions below. Once you have signed-up, please contact Julie Jones with your Kroger Plus Card number so we can assign that number to your student. Credits earned (5% of what you spend) will got into your student’s account. You may have more than one plus card assigned to a student. It is very important that you contact us with your number(s), otherwise, your student will not get their credits, as we will not know who to match them with; those credits will automatically go into the Band’s general fund.

TO USE THE KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM:
= Simply encourage your members to register online at krogercommunityrewards.com
= Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy and register your card with your organization after you sign up.
= If a member does not yet have a Kroger Plus card, please let them know that they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger.
= Click on Sign In/Register
= Most participants are new online customers, so they must click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
= Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions
=You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.
= Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
= Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.
= Update or confirm your information.
= Enter NPO number (81138) or name of organization (Lakewood Band Boosters Inc), select organization from list and click on confirm.
= To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page.
= REMEMBER, purchases will not count for your group until after your member(s) register their card(s).
= Do you use your phone number at the register? Call 877-576-7587 to get your Kroger Plus card number.
Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.

***IMPORTANT...IMPORTANT***
We received notice from Kroger that current paricipants in the Kroger Community Rewards Program need to re-enroll in April in order to continue earning funds for their students accounts. This is different from years past so please make sure you do this beginning April 1st. This will be done every April thereafter. Please see the information below:
All current participants must re-enroll for the program in order to earn funds for your group during 2010.
Even if you have members who sign up for Kroger Community Rewards in February or March 2010 which will earn your organization funds as part of the 2009 program - they must sign up again beginning April 1, 2010 to continue earning rewards during the coming year.
It's easy for your members to enroll or re-enroll in Kroger Community Rewards. They can visit www.krogercommunityrewards.com, click on "Ohio" to sign up for a Kroger.com account or click on "Already enrolled? Sign In" if they already have an account. All participants must have a valid online account at Kroger.com to participate.
While we encourage your members to sign up for Kroger Community Rewards in April, they can actually sign up any time thereafter. Early enrollment, however, will help your group grow its rewards immediately.
